PE

The PE program at CES follows the skill theme curriculum model. Students learn a variety of movement skills such as throwing, catching, striking, volleying, and dribbling and how they apply to different sports. They learn the mechanics of these skills and then, they are given opportunities to practice these skills in a dynamic environment. The PE program also includes cooperative activities to teach the students the importance of teamwork, cooperative skills, and goal setting. The overall objective is to help students develop a foundation of movement skills they can build on, become physically literate individuals, and find enjoyment in physical activity now and for a lifetime.
