Starting Monday, February 23rd, we will be implementing a new safety policy: Metal water bottles (including stainless steel and aluminum) will no longer be permitted on school premises.
We know many of you love your reusable metal bottles, but this change is necessary to ensure the highest level of safety and security for everyone in our community. Because metal containers are opaque and cannot be easily screened, they will be restricted starting this coming Monday.
📋 What You Need to Know:
-
The Switch: Please transition to clear plastic reusable bottles. As long as we can see what’s inside, you’re good to go!
-
Monday, February 23rd, Enforcement: Staff will take up any metal bottles, and guardians will need to come to the school to collect them starting the morning of the 23rd.
💧 Stay Hydrated!
Don't worry—our hydration stations and water fountains aren't going anywhere! We encourage you to keep bringing your reusable clear bottles so we can continue to reduce plastic waste together while keeping our school campus safe.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we make this transition. If you have any questions about what’s allowed, feel free to reach out to us.
