Clinic Information
The school nurse's office is never a dull place!! In fact, some days it's the most happening place in the building! It is just not applying band-aids and tending to skinned knees. Although plenty of that happens. You will find us nursing the sick, administering daily and emergency medication, taking care of those with chronic illnesses and disabilities. We have kids with allergies, asthma, ADD/ADHD, seizures, diabetes, and peg tubes, just to name a few. School nurses work closely with parents, teachers, administration, and the community to promote the health and well-being of kids while they are under our care. Oh yes, last but not least, the handing out of the beloved ICE PACKS!!
