Today was a page-turner at Central Elementary! We celebrated "Reading Is Everywhere" Day by turning our entire campus into a living library.
👕 Words You Can Wear
Our hallways were filled with walking stories! Students were encouraged to wear shirts covered in words, and let’s just say they delivered. From favorite quotes to clever puns, the creativity was off the charts. We especially want to give a shout-out to the students who rocked homemade shirts—your hand-painted designs and iron-on masterpieces were truly amazing!
🦁 Going on a "Word Hunt Safari"
The learning didn't stop at the classroom door. Some of our classes took their literacy skills on the road for a Word Hunt Safari! Equipped with "field guides," our young explorers wandered the school looking for "words in the wild." Whether it was a sign in the cafeteria or a poster in the gym, no word was safe from being spotted and documented.
