Ethan Webb Trailer

so my name is Ethan Webb and I'm the Emergency Management director here in Morgan County my 2014 graduate December at high school when you're the merchant manager of a small County like Morgan County and you know most of the citizens in the county you see the devastation unfortunately that they go bathroom but you also get to see the glimpse of hope that they have when you arrive to help make their worst day a little bit the night that the tornado struck that when I found out we had 2 citizens that had lost their lives during the tornado that was probably the most devastating call that I responded to while being a merchant huge hit knowing that we're here to protect these people and and wages you know it was too late for us at that time when Governor comes to your county and that's a pretty big response um Governor Lee was here uh for several hours the following days you know any type of large response like that is just a very coordinated effort that we could never do along with people would have no idea the the amount of agencies and resources that go into response I think being a graduate of some of the school has shaped me into being the merchant manager that I am to know that just because you come from a small community doesn't mean that you can't have a very important of course I am a County employee uh I've lived in the county of my entire life I plan to continue to live here I still live in the community that I grew up with and I'm able to serve as a citizens in a very important role
