Sara Young

I am a Physical Therapist Assistant and have worked for Morgan County Schools since 2018. I have been a PTA since 2000 and previously worked in Fentress County, Scott County and Oneida City Schools. I have always loved working with children, especially special needs and I also have a background in sports injuries. As a PTA, I help children learn to safely use playground equipment if they have gross motor deficits such as decreased  balance and coordination, poor safety awareness, and decreased proprioception. I also assist teachers with proper educational seating and mobility options, work to improve functional gait training, stair climbing and range of motion. I have the privilege of working under Amanda Crouch, PT who graduated from UT Chattanooga with her doctorate of PT in 2005.
